Hi Bob~

I'm SHI Yi, u can call me Eleven (I know it's a strange name, if u wanna know the special meaning, welcome to ask me^-^). I'm from Hangzhou, China and now a full-time student of MSc LIM.

I like HK so much~
I owned a bachelor's degree in Arts with specialty of Radio & Television Journalism before I came to HKU. Meanwhile, I’d been an exercitation reporter and editor in Zhejiang Radio & Television Group for nearly 2 years. I love such kind of jobs so much thus, I suppose I'd choose something related to media as my future career. And I know HK's a place better than Chinese mainland to boost this career as people here got more freedom of speech.
I'm also fond in music & movie, it's another reason I like HK. As we know, HK got a lot of movies and music albums that would not be screened or published in Chinese mainland.Thus, I have more resources/chances to study/enjoy diverse kinds of music & movie, which can promote my deeply understanding of the whole media industry.

Now I turn my major into knowledge management because I always mess myself up when the quantity of things or matters becomes large, I need manage them organizationally. I consider that the information/knowledge management would be a basic skill for me to engage all kinds of work.
I've seen my group mates' expectations for ur course, I got the familiar hopes and besides, sometime I care less abt wt & how much I learn in class but focus more on the atmosphere of classroom, as I suppose a relaxed environment (like that in some games)makes us remember & master knowledge more easily~_~

Hello Bob

First of all, I want to say sorry for missing the first session. I’m a full-time student from mainland China. I graduated from South China Normal University in 2010, and my bachelor degree is educational information technology. I ever worked in Guangdong museum for six months. Because of the short work experience, I found that I need to learn more, so I quit my job and chose HKU as my next station.

My Expectation

Unlike some students who work in the school or library, I prefer to do something relating to business so I desire to get much knowledge about the organizational learning in companies or enterprises. In my opinion, organizational learning is not only appeared in the school but also in other fields such as e-learning or training for the staffs of companies. I hope we may have more study cases concentrating on business to learn or discuss. I also want to have a well understanding about how to organize or manager the process of organizational learning. I trust it will be helpful no matter what we will do in the future.

By the way, it’s my first time I can learn in the room RR321. Actually, the room is so fantastic that I enjoy the time I can study in there.

I am Liang Siyun, Chilly, 2011871179

I am a full time student from mainland and own bachelor degree in business, e-commerce. Before I come to HKU, I ever work for two e-commerce companies totally for half a year. So that I have a litter working experiences. My original interest to get involved in information management base for my working experiences. In fields of e-commerce, like online shopping, online promotion, etc, the efficiency and abilities of information management are critical. How to gain this kind of ability and how to develop it arose my interest and curiosity.

Course Expectation:

Every organization must keep renovation and study to maintain alive. A scientific way to manage and guide the learning organization is very important. I want to know more about ways of knowledge management(such like some KM models and their usages), renovation of enterprise, effective way to retrain staff and so on. They are interesting to me and could be general knowledge no matter which field and what a company I will get in in the future.
